About Sparrow Early Learning Centre in Brighton

Sparrow Early Learning has been a part of the Brighton community for more than 24 years and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. We provide high quality programs that focus on the children’s interests and abilities. Read more.

Our educators are part of our centre family, with some of our educators attending the centre themselves when they were children. Most of our educators have been at the centre for over 5 years with 4 members of our team each having celebrated 10 years of service.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on natural elements and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and focus our programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child in our care.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators.

Our well resourced and shaded outdoor spaces provide limitless opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play, with children enjoying open green areas, climbing equipment, sandpit, swing, bikes and our beautiful tee-pee.

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Brighton. With over a decade of rich experience in the early childhood industry, I bring a deep passion for fostering growth and learning in young minds.

Beyond my professional journey, I am a proud mother to a vibrant 7-year-old daughter who keeps life wonderfully chaotic. Our family is completed by a cat and a snake, adding a touch of adventure to our daily routine. Read more.

Enrolment process

Our childcare centre in Brighton promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
